Advisory Board Meeting

Want to participate in the future of the Durland Alternatives Library?
On the first Wednesday of the month we meet up to organize and improve library programs.
Here’s some of what you can expect from our advisory board meetings:
- Review a different section of the library each month to remove and identify new books
- Review and get a status update on each of the library programs (including Prisoner Express)
- Learn about ways the library is involved in community projects
- Learn how to get involved in Prisoner Express programs
Enhancing the Collection
At each meeting we will review a section of the library for items we can pull, and brainstorm, search, and possibly even order on the spot items that we can add. This is an exciting, action oriented meeting that also contributes immensely to quality of the library’s collection.
