Understanding and Responding to Sexual Behaviors in Children

It can be hard to understand sexual behavior in children, but this understanding is critical for parents, educators, and community groups.
At this event volunteer educators from Enough Abuse Tompkins will help us develop our understanding of sexual behaviors in children. They will help us distinguish what is normal, age appropriate behavior and what is a possible yellow or red flag behavior that can either indicate that a child is being sexually abused or may be developing sexually abuse behavior.
At this event you will also learn key communication & intervention skills to better be able to talk with children – about both expected and problematic behavior.
This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
Enough Abuse Tompkins is a program of the Advocacy Center.
