I’ve been a big fan of the Media Education Foundation for years, always on the look out for their DVDs, which outside a university department are hard to come by. I’m so excited that we’re able to have a portion of their wonderful collection here at the Durland Alternatives Library, where these materials are available to all our patrons for personal use. To get a taste of what MEF has to offer, visit their website. If something catches your interest, stop on by the library and pick it up. If we don’t have it in our collection, by all means let us know and we’ll do all we can to fill your request 🙂

Here are the films we’ve just recently added to our collection.

  • Consuming Kids : The Commercialization of Childhood
